What You’ll Find Here
Essays
I write about mental health, motherhood, identity, and how personal truth intersects with larger cultural stories. My essays blend memoir and social commentary, because our private lives are political, and our culture shapes how we make meaning.
Reporting & Journalism
I cover parenting, pop culture, reproductive rights, civil rights, education, and mental health with a lens toward equity, cultural context, and the shifting realities facing women and families. My work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, New York Magazine, and more.
Creative Nonfiction
Sometimes reflection needs more than prose. I use poetry and lyrical nonfiction to explore memory, grief, and transformation.
Podcasting
I co-host The Women’s Current, an intergenerational podcast about power, ambition, and community. We with women of all walks of life—about how women support each other across generations and what it really means to make change.
A Memoir In Progress
I’m working on a memoir that weaves together my childhood (shaped by bipolar disorder and addiction), my early adulthood, and the many ways I’ve learned to build a life from the fragments.
Why This Matters to Me — and Maybe to You
Storytelling is how we make sense of our experiences and map our understanding of self and others. My hope is that this newsletter becomes a place where we think together: about healing, identity, and belonging. I want to hold the tension between who we were, who we are, and who we’re becoming.
I write because I want to offer a mirror to anyone else navigating a similar terrain. I also write because our personal stories are political: what we feel, how we parent, how we live.
